Posted almost 3 years ago I have a few college courses under my belt and have decided to go into the nursing field. I work full-time and can only take classes part time at this point. My question is should I take Biology and chemistry before going on into the A & P, Micro, and chemistry. Thanks for your imput.

| Posted almost 3 years ago Hi,
Yes usually its required to take the bio before you take the A&P. Same with the micro you have to have bio. It is probably best to try to separate the two if you have to be part time. Like maybe a com class and bio. I am just suggesting this because they are both usually 4 credit classes and require a lot of time. I was full time taking 3 other classes and more than 2/3s of my study time was spent on my Chem class.
Good luck with your classes...hope this helps some!! |

| Posted almost 3 years ago At my school if you have had bio and chem in the past 5 years (in high school) you don't have to retake them and can just go straight into the prerequisites. Check with your schools policy before you waste your time (saying this having no idea how old you are). And I would take micro as the last class if you can. |
