Hey chickety..Ive heard pros and cons about Brown Mackie. I heard it is a lot of $$ . My friend and I went there and they quoted us 2 different prices. And neither of the prices is what my sister-in-law paid 1 year ago. They up'd the price from13,000 to 25,000. I also heard that the students there dont get to do their clinicals because a lot of places dont want to take Brown Mackie students due to lack of experience. Also..your credits dont transfer, so if you want to get into an RN program after you graduate, then you either have to do it online or start the RN program as if your not even an LPN. I dunno...instead of being only 12 months, they decided to add an extra 3 months on to it..making it 15 months. Hey..maybe thats how they tack on the extra couple thousand.! LOL..Pro's...ummm well you dont have to wait forever to get in..there is no waiting list and they enroll new every month.
