As far as cheapening the Office of the President... I presume you weren't referring tothe Oval Office, which couldn't be cheapened any further after Bill Clinton's sexual activities there. LOL

I agree with Eric.  This was all about PR...period.  I am not an Obama fan, not even close, although I will say he has of late made at least one fairly decent decision, however, he has a long way to go before he could "win me over".  He would have to start finding the value in the lives of the unborn before I would even consider voting for him.  I do not feel that things like the oil spill, the economy, etc. are Obama's fault.  I do feel however, that he is not nearly strong enough to meet the consequences of these issues head on and hold the appropriate people responsible for them.   Obama is all about appearances, plain and simple.

Joy Behar is an Obama freak.  I used to watch her show, but not anymore.  She recently made some horrible remarks regarding Sarah Palin and her family.  I can't understand why everyone is so thereatened by her.  It's quite amusing actually.  What I think is so interesting is that when someone isn't liberal, or doesn't support Obama, it becomes an issue of race, bigotry, hate....when those same people bash conservatives, (which Joy does regularly) it's ok, no one says anything.  You can't watch Fox, Bill O'reilly, Rush Limbaugh without being called something derogatory.  I have figured out that it's ok with libs if you have an opinion, as long as it is THEIR opinion.

Hasselbeck was the only one who asked anything as far as his progress during his presidency, but he still cut her off. It looked like he was starting his   next campaign for trying to be President again...........he was campaigning again.   I dont think everything thats wrong is HIS fault.  He is charismatic and is a great speaker.  I dont blame him for the oil spill in the Gulf  I blame BP.  It was a tragedy for the wildlife in the gulf, and the economy for everybody who made their living related to fishing and tourism.  It wasnt right to blame Katrina on Bush, that was an act of God........This tragedy was caused by stupidy, greed, and probably dangerous working conditions by BP.  I cant stand that BP exec looking all tan, and when he was on the news after being in a yaght  race, made me want to puke.  I kept thinking about those poor little greasy birds who are if not dead, will probably die soon.  Nope its not Obamas fault, but Id like him to kick that jerk out of the country and bleed his company dry and reimburse the people who have been economically compromised by this and if there is any cash left over decrease the national debt, just a thought. 

Man, I cant believe I posted this such a long time ago, but  its not funny at all that we have been chided by the Chinese about our 'addiction' to spending.   Im now not surprised, but its sad, Im worried about my future grandkids.  My dad died last month.  My mother in law died last week so its been a sad time for our family.  I hope Obama is ashamed of himself because he should be, I cant believe he sucks so much more than everybody thought! Plus he's still blaming Bush. We're over 2 years into his first term, and has anybody besides me thought of a possible good candidate after Obama signs up for unemployment?  I am thinking Herman Cain, Michele Bachman, Mitt Romney, Newt Gingrey.  Personally,  I hope Sarah Pailain will run.  No matter what the liberals dish out I think she can take it.    My personal dream team will be a draw between Michelle Bachman/Sarah Pailain;  or  Herman Cain/Sarah Pailin.  How in the world can a person run the government if he's never run a business?  I think this country needs fresh blood in the white house.  One of the funniest things we heard on tv last week was when Harry Reid said " we're in the most critical time in this country's history".  Bullcrap.  911? World War I, World War II,  Civil War? The White House burned down in 1812?  Hmmmmm.......I hope nobody tries to read anything into my post about burning down the White House now. 

Our president really didn't need to do this show-I just find The View utterly dull !!!!!! I can't help it-I like Whoopi, Barabara, Joy, Sherry, and Elizabeth!!!!! I just think they could do something better with their time!!!!! The Prez could do something worthwhile with his time,too-like reaming Congress out!!!!! I'm assuming that Congress are grown adults, but ever since the debt ceiling debacle I'm at a loss for the contempt I have for all elected officials!!!!! I find it hard to continue to elect folks who only have their best interests @ heart-let's give ourselves raises while the whole country starves and loses their jobs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sick to death of phoney politicians who only want your vote and when they get in office forget how he/she got there!!!! I'm going be thinking long and hard when I vote again for Prez!!!!!!!!
