Just wondering if any of you have ever made a vision board to visualize your health goals?

No I have not used a vision board.  Would be interested in learning more though.  New to this site and group and I have been trying to get back in shape and think healthier.  I have been watching what I eat...

I am not certified with doing vision boards, although that is on my list...  I have used vision boards, taking a poster board, and finding pictures and words that manifest the essence of where I want to be, either in my health, fitness, spiritual life, work, etc. It is a visual reminder of where my goals and dreams are focused...

I have read a few articles on this topic. It is something that the spiritual teacher Echart Tole also touches upon. Vision boards are intended to be a daily reminder of your desires/goals. If something you truely desire is repeatedly brought to your concience it will encourage the opening of a positive path of energy to allow it to manifest. You must visiualize being there/ having that/ feeling the felings of joy once acheiving it, regardless of what it is. The only problem is that we are such a society of instant gradification that most become impatient and loose faith because it didnt happen 'next week'. All good things take time.

P.S. Joyce, I just noticed your websites and am excited to check them out!

I haven't tried using vision boards (although I'll definitely check it out). I usually print out calendars that try to write down days I want to exercise and what healthy meals I'll make for dinner on which days. It's already hard enough getting out of the office to exercise after a long day's work, but the calendar helps me cut down on the time I spend thinking about things. I get home and I'm ready to go!

Vision boards would be a visual representation of writing out goals and plans. So instead of writing out a dream to be an RN, you would have a picture representing that goal.

If you want to lose weight, you could have a picture of someone representing what you want to look like in an outfit, or possibly a picture of yourself when you were your ideal weight, for example.

I am in the vision board class now, hoping to get great ideas to pass on to others that will help you visualize your goals.
