Posted over 5 years ago HI. IM FROM NJ AND AM NOW A CMA. I LOVE WHAT I DO, BUT I WANT MORE OUT OF IT.I WOULD LIKE TO BECOME AN RN IN PEDIATRICS, BUT, I HAVE NO CLUE WHERE TO START! I AM WORKING FULLTIME AND I WOULD LIKE TO TRY ONLINE COURSES MAYBE INSTEAD OF GOING TO THE SCHOOL BECUASE OF THE TIME. DOES ANYONE HAVE INFORMATION ON THIS? I DO NOT WANT TO DO LPN FIRST BECAUSE AGAIN, THE TIME AND THE MONEY! I WOULD RATHER JUST GO STRAIGHT TO RN. IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE? IM NOT SURE. IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE TO GIVE ME SOME INSIGHT, OR INFORMATION IT WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED. THANKS = ) |

| Posted over 5 years ago Hello! I admire your ambition, and yes you can go straight to RN school. It takes about two years for and associate degree and four for a bachelor degree. There are great oppurtunities for online degrees if a school in your area offers them, Im attending Snead in Alabama tthis is the first semester they have offered online RN programs. of course you still have to do your clinicals and check-offs on campus and hospitals. I am an LPN going for RN and you are very wise to go straight to RN. Good luck!! |
