CHILDREN

I want to walk like a child does, full of curiosity, a little less afraid about

the things that can happen. The springtime is like children, who are alive, green

and growing. I know there are some things I could do to awaken the child in me.

I want to swing on a swing. I want to sing a song over and over and over and over.

I want to laugh at something crazy. I want to splash through a pond. I know there

are ways to awaken the child in me.

Perhaps my patients are just waiting for me to have a little more fun with them.

And, if I watch a child long enough I might find some clues to new ways to laugh

and play.

In the wonder of childhood innocence you invite me loving God to keep finding ways

to live with playful joy. Help me believe that my heart can still find ways to

childlike delight. AMEN
