The flu shot has been optional where I work for the employees.  Sometimes I've opted to have it, other years I've chosen not to.

However now that I'm back in school I'm being forced to take the flu shot which now combines the H1N1 and seasonal flu together which I'm NOT at all happy about.  Is anyone else being forced to take the flu shot at work or for school?  What are your thoughts?

" It is true that everyone has the option to take / refuse medication, however, given the factor as a Licensed,Healthcare Employee,

the US,to obtain citizenship and acquire employment, whenever / wherever they can. Many countries do not have the same

Id be too scared NOT to get a flu shot.   OK  Ive never been one to stay anonymous in this area, lol............Its AngieNurse10, recycled from AngieNWGeorgia, and Happy2BeHere.   There are way too many cooties out there NOT to protect yourself.  Do you wash your hands after you go to the toilet?  Do you Wipe your runny nose on your hand and then wave it around?  Nope?  Im a cootie phobe.  I have hand sanitizer on my person at all time, whether its in an easy acces part of my purse or my pocket.  I feel the same way about my annul flu shot.   I have MS, I have asthma............and Im an ex smoker and I LOVED smoking.  So yup Im as advocate of my flu shot as I am about washing my hands after I use the potty, and I use a tissue when my nose is dripping.............and dispose of it safely so no one has to accidently run into it.  Well, toodles yall.
