I am a new Grad with my BSN-RN and am looking to obtain a career in the critical care setting in New York City. I am looking for advice to what areas of the city are the safest, and which hospitals have a good reputation for low staff turnover and fostering growth within their employees. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hi cstraszheim,

I recently moved to NYC and I am working for a city hospital in the Bronx as a pediatric emergency room nurse. The area bad either, but I agree with nyanbenmommy that you have to be street smart and watch your surroundings. I would say where ever you interview ask the staff about how they feel in regards to safety. Best of luck!
