Posted over 2 years ago How much is it where you are? Is it too high for you or can you deal? What ways do you save money when it comes to the movies? |

| Posted over 2 years ago I've been buying movie tickets @ Costco. 2 tickets for $16. Can be used any time. Just have to stand in line @ the ticket booth to exchange it for the theatre"s ticket. This can be used @ Regal cinema's. Regal's also has a re Wards program, Where you can earn free tickets, etc. One of the best places to get the candy you sneak in2 the theatre is Walmart. Another alternative is the drive in! Love it! |

| Posted over 2 years ago Tickets to movies are between $5.75 and $9.75 depending on the movie. I watch on HBO, rent from Red Box or get them from the library mostly. I also have a hge collection of older movies. Very few drive-ins any more in northern Ohio. John L. Racher RN, BSN, MSRN-BC

| Posted over 2 years ago I have been a member of Blockbuster for many years now and I may not see the movie when it is in the theatre but I see it as soon as it comes out for rental. I pay $23.00/month and that allows me 3 movies at a time with unlimited in-store exchanges. It is a great deal! |

| Posted over 2 years ago I see Blockbuster filed for bankruptcy. It doesn't sound good for them. I think they have a hard time competing with Netflix especially since you can get movies downloaded from Netflix. John L. Racher RN, BSN, MSRN-BC

The biggest problem that Netflix is now facing compared to Blockbuster is that in a recent agreement with the production companies Netflix now has to wait 28 days after a movie is released on DVD/Blu-ray before they can release it through their service. It is the biggest reason that I have canceled my Netflix account. I mostly use the Blockbuster Experess Kiosk's in our local grocery store. Get the movie for a buck and have it tonight. I found I was paying like $10 a month for Netflix and not watching 10 movies in a month. I did use both the online streaming videos and recieved the videos but got to the point that the only thing in my queue was new releases and I wanted to see those the week they were released not a month later. Blockbuster also is still staying in business. |
