 Hi everyone!!!!

I hope you guys can help me with my situation.

I am a green card holder, I got my degree BSN in the Philippines but didn't able to take the local board because almost right after I graduated I came over here in US to be with my husband. Now I am planning to take the NCLEX, I already called the BON and asked if they require a local license to give ATT and they said they don't require but a written explanation why I don't hold a license is required.  I read a lot of forums and it was so confusing.  I am starting to gather all the requirements needed for the application for ATT.

Somebody knows about this?what do I need to do. I really don't wanna go back to the Phils just to take the local board and then go back here again to take NCLEX, it's a hassle.

You should access the web site of the Board of Nursing in the state in which you intend to obtain your RN License. The same should explain the procedure legal requisites for taking the NCLEX in that state. Alternatively, you might search the BON web sites through out the USA in the hope that one might have legal requisites which might more expediently address your situation. The NCLEX board web site might, also, appropriately address your situation. Best of Luck!
