I have questions about funding for nursing school. I am starting a general entry program in which I will receive a MS - Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Degree in just over 3 years (starting Spring term 2011). It's a private school and tuition is extremely expensive. I NEED ALL OF THE HELP I CAN GET (as far as financial aid). I dont mind taking the time to apply for aid but I dont see a lot out here for my particular situation. I have looked on this website and exhausted all of the resources at the schools website. I could use any information you are willing to pass along. Thank You PS - My background: Bachelors (2001) and 8 years in corporate america (counseling and career management) Sincerely, Jevell Graham |

| Posted over 1 year ago Hey Jevell, I hear you. I am starting an NP program this Fall. I am getting the dreaded student loans. But thankfully I got accepted into a state school so it is fairly cheap but they have went up on the tuition of course. There are list of scholarships on Monster.com. You can get small scholaships on a few websites like Collegeprowler.com. and Fastweb.com. The most difficult part of scholarships is actually applying... who has time to write all those essays. Well hope this helps. Good Luck |
