i am thankful for my son and husband more than anything else in this world. my husband has helped me become more wiser and patient with the world. he and my son are pretty much the only family that i have had. they taught me that even though my life was undoubtfully hard, that i have to grow up and enjoy the world while its still here and let the little petty things fly out the window when they tap on the glass. and i am also thankful for my opportunities with my new career and exploration into the wonderful world of nursing. i thank the lord that i have been given such an outgoing personality cause without it i wouldnt be here where i am today. we all have so much to be thankful for so what about you.

I thank God for my wonderfully insightful and talented son, Tanner. He brings so much happiness to my day. I am very fortunate to have supportive parents. I would not have the luxury of attending school if it weren't for them. I have a few REALLY GOOD friends that life would be so boring without. I am thankful for their presence in my life. I am very thankful that I enjoy learning so much, classes could quickly become monotonous to me if I didn't. Furthermore, I am thankful that I finally made a proactive decision in my life. The decision to pursue nursing was a turning point in my life and so many good things have followed that one major decision.

I am thankful for my family. My mother's death, over a year ago, made me realize just precious they are. And just recently, a policeman killed in the line of duty ( my son-in-law is a policeman) brought that home again. I'm thankful for my grandkids, they are so much fun and looking at the world through their eyes makes me see everything differently. I'm thankful for my husband whose patience with me is enormous. And I'm thankful for my sense of humor which has gotten me through alot of hard times.

Big wet sloppy baby kisses (and hugs & kisses from all of the other kids too)! My hubby's arms around me...and the "I love you's" that fly freely throughout the house!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, worn out and screaming "Woo-hoo"!!!

I cherish the smile on my sons face when he wakes up and the smile when going to bed. He has the cutest face and sleepy eyes in the morning. Watching him smile everyday is the best thing in the entire world.

My little niece who gets cutier every day brings me a lot of joy, and I absolutely love my family. I have found that, after living in Atlanta and moving to the country, that I cherish the deer that I see almost daily in my yard, the many stars I can see in a clearer sky at night, the hawk that I see regularly when I pull out of my driveway, and I love being able to build a campfire just about anytime I like. When I think of moving back to the city where there is certainly more diversity, I can't bear to think of leaving this behind. (I listed many more than one thing..sorry. I couldn't help myself.)

I am thankful for my husband, he is a supportive, wonderful man who reminds me of my father.  I am thankful that he is there for me through good and bad, I am thankful that we get along so well....(we have only argued one time in our 5 yrs together!) I am thankful God gave me a best friend like him.  I am thankful that my father wakes up every morning and that I can hear his voice.  I am thankful for my mom who has taught me so many things about life.  I am thankful for the two beautiful angels I call stepdaughters that I have.  The are so talented and smart.  I am thankful for my sister.  I am thankful for this journey, I have met so many wonderful people and seen so many beautiful places since being apart of the Navy.  I am also thankful for the troops, those troops of today and those who served the past.  Without them we would not be free.
