Diwali is the festival of light. It brings colours, happiness, fun in an individual's life along with it. Peole celebrate it by worshiping Devi Kali( one of the forms of Devi Durga, the goddess of Power) and Devi Lakshmi the goddess of wealth) with great enthusiasm. This celebration is for  the triumph og good over evil. The light of diyas indicates the significance of light that light can remove darkness. People all get together and make rangoli in front of their home, they decorate their houses with flowers, diyas (lamps) and candles and with artificial lights. They enjoy this evening with burning firecrakers and with exchanging chocolates, sweets. People also wish their friends, beloved one, relatives by giving beautiful greetings, scraps and SMS.
