Posted over 2 years ago Hey!! My name is Heather and I am a new LPN. I actually start my kinda first job tomorrow. I have been a stna at a facility and they offered me a PRN position and I was offered a pt time position. I am so excite but nervous as heck. Any words of wisdom or suggestions on how to feel a little less uneasy??? I actually found nursinglink on facebook and am so thank ful I did. Lots of great info!! Heather

| Posted over 2 years ago Hello Heather! My name is Jevell and I am a second career nursing student who started off in HR - career management /counseling. I was recently accepted into an accelerated MSN pogram (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) which starts in January 2011. I've been using NurseLink for support and guidance. I am glad I found it also!!!!! |

| Posted over 2 years ago Hi! I am Victoria. I have been a LPN for over 13 years and am now back in school to obtain my RN. I am taking my pre-reqs right now, and will take the Teas on Dec. 3, 2010. In Feb. 2011 I will apply to the nursing program. |

| Posted over 2 years ago hello Jevell and Victoria. Thanks for replying its nice to meet you both. Good luck to both of you with your studies I know its hard but very doable!! I just scheduled my classes this afternoon for my RN im so excite to start back at school finally knowing what i want to do with my life. I have worked 3 days alone on the floor as the charge nurse and it is very difficult but I really enjoy it. Thank goodness I found my calling :) |
