Posted over 2 years ago Since I was a child i've always wanted to be a nurse and after witnessing my cousins birth last year I decided I want to do Labor and Delivery. Fall semester is almost over and at the end of spring i will have all my pre-reqs completed. I am applying for Fall, which everything is due by Feb. 1st (2 months). I am having difficulties in Chemistry. Last semester i took chemistry and got a D and i'm re-taking it and might be getting a C. My school averages them both together for nursing. My freshman year was terrible, i was not focused at all and i'm trying to make up for all my mistakes. I'm very worried I wont get accepted into the program because of this Chemistry and having to retake it. My other classes that are required arent high at all. I made a B in both A&P and i will be taking the onther sciences in the spring and summer. I absolutely do NOT want to quit because this is what I want and there is nothing else I'd rather do. Does anyone have any advice regarding what I should do? Please! |

| Posted over 2 years ago Yes I have and I'm hoping it will help me a bit more, its just chemistry has been my biggest weakness. When chemistry was covered in a&p, that test was my lowest. I dont know what it is about it but it is difficult for me. Thank you and I will keep posting. |

| Posted over 2 years ago GITANO_RN, thank you so much for your advice. Your words definitely gave me hope and the modivation to continue reaching for my goal. It is very difficult when school doesnt come as easy to you as it does for others but I wont lose hope. If I really want it I know I have to work for it. I really appreciate your response! |
