LPN/LVN is typically done in a community college or trade school setting. You will need to contact some of your local community colleges and inquire about there program. Which ever you pick, the education will be the same and you will take to same state boards.

I got my LPN through a trade school.  It is one of the top schools in my area.  In my area which is Richmond, VA the LPN schools are offered through the counties and some private medical schools.  The ones that are through the county are less expensive and have a better reputation.  Contact your local Nursing board and find out which ones are in your area.  If they can't help you then they will direct you to someone who can.  I would ask them about the reputation of the diff. schools and which ones have a better passing ratio when taking the boards.   You don't want to go through school and do well in a program that doesn't teach you enough to pass the boards.  We had some schools like that, and no one was passing the boards, so they changed their matieral and then changed their name so that they could con't to get students.  Unfortunately the students that have gone to those schools now have a bad reputation because the students came out of school not knowing enough just to pass medications.
