Hi,

I currently graduated college 5 years ago with a Bach in Specialized studies with a focus on Politacal Science and Anthropology. When I went back to school, I went for the experience, so it didn't really help me get a 'specific' job when I graduated. I am currently a dog groomer and and going back to school to be a RN in March 2011. I enjoy grooming but the pay is unstable do to be being paid on commission. This is a big factor in going back to school.

After I graduate as an RN is there some way to combine my Bacchelors and Nursing degree or would I still have to go and get a BSN after I become an RN?

Thanks!

Most 4 year schools have a special school option for people that have already received a BA or BS, usually within the last 7 years. Many also have changed their RN to BSN program to online only so if you actually wanted to still get your BSN that could be an option as well.

As far as combining and ADN with a BA I have never heard of such a thing especially since most schools don't offer a BA in Nursing. The only school I know that offers a BA in Nursing is Case Western Reserve.
