Posted over 2 years ago Hi My name is Emelyn. Im a new member of nursing link. It's been a year since i passed my RN-NCLEX board exam and until now i haven't got the luck yet. I graduated overseas and took my RN board here in California so I don't know if that's the reason why they are not considering me. Im applying jobs online everyday and sometimes i has to walk-in at the facility to show my interest but employer are very reluctant because of my lack of experience. 8 positions for the RN-NEW GRAD training program over 1500 or more applicants. I revised my resume twice already. What am I supposed to do? Im losing my hope!

| Posted over 2 years ago I think I answered this in another post by you on the site. I would also see if there is a clinic where you can do some volunteer work in the mean time. You will gain experience, and be able to add this to your resume. Joyce Harrell, RN, OCN
