1.An order reads tylenol (acetaminphen grx suppository PRN every 4 hrs temperature greater 100F the nurse should administer.
D x Q 60/100?
H

2. The amount of solution and of IV aminophyline received by a client each hour when there is 500 mg aminophylline in 250ml solution given every 24 hrs.?

3.you are instructed to give cephalexin monhydrateg over the next 24 hrs divided into 6 equally spaced doses how much would you give for each day?

D
H x Q 3000=24x6

Please help me with the formula 1,2,3
because I'm lost with this Help..

well the first one is asking for gr x which is the apothocary system not alot of drs use that anymore


gr X = grain 10

 X, is like roman numerals.


You multiply grains by 65 (ask your instructor because some use 60) to get mg. Example: Doctor orders grains 10 tylenol. You have 325 mg/tab tylenol on hand.


multiply 10 by 65 = 650

divide 650 by 325 = 2 tabs


the others im not the best at these but is there more information in your question and if i have questions most times i call my pharmacy bc they will walk you through difficult equations sorry not to be more help
