Hello,

I am a resident here in the US. I just graduated in the Philippines last April 2010 and I did not take the NLE there. Im planning to apply for

NCLEX here in CA and  Im planning to apply for an Interim Permit, too. Do I need TOEL for that? coz it say's on the CA BON site that they

need TOEFL  if you're from a non-English speaking country or did not take your country's licensing exam in English.  Philippines is

an English speaking country..i think. And I did not take the local board. Besides that, there's no other specific details.

Any help will be appreciated!

I am not familiar with the U.S. policies on this. I think it would be best to contact the Board of Nursing in the state you plan on moving to.
