Posted over 1 year ago Just an FYI If anyone from Alpha Medical Company calls you or your place of business, hang up. I was called by this company and they stated that they did business with the DON before me. They said they would give me a deal on exam gloves. $35.79 a case and free shopping and a free box of candy. I order two cases of gloves. When I received the bill it was for $494.64 and no candy. I called them and I was told that they are special gloves and that I agreed to pay that amount on the phone. I did not. I sent them back. | Posted over 1 year ago This unfortunately happened to our facility recently also. Someone calls from Alpha Medical and states the order is being shipped. We had a new Supply Clerk who wasn't aware of this company and she thought the previous supply clerk had made an order. They asked her name and used that to say she had set up an account. Two cases of exam gloves arrived with a huge invoice with shipping charges on each case individually. Then about 1-2 months later they called to say the "rest" of the shipment would be coming. No one ever ordered from this company from our facility. Please be aware of Alpha Medical Company. |
