Hi Everyone!

This is going to be a weird question. Have you even seen "something" out of the corner of your eye go down the hall, and you weren't the only one seeing this, but there wasn't anyone really there? (night shift) Well, last night, I saw a woman, with a red/orange jacket on, with dark hair, go into an empty patient room. It was just a quick glimpse, but enough of a glimpse for the color to leave my face and my co-worker ask me what was wrong.

Do you ever see unexplained things on night shift? Would you mind sharing what the weirdest or scariest thing is that you have seen working at the hospital?

" Having worked 3-11:30pm, in addition to 11:00pm-7:30am.,there were random occasions, depending on the particular sites

in question, where the allied staff have,"literally reported unusual occurences",taking place, thus have,"refused to pursue",

proving their alleged encounters, unless accompanied by others. There are others who ,"scoff ",stating," no such thing,"however,

**there have been case studies over the years,( historical societies, geneologists, etc.),who have,"proven",that some spirits,

"will continue to inhabit locations, time and again",( former proprietors,,employees, victims of tragic events, etc.)

  "Sometimes, seeing really is believing."

Well.. that certainly does happen to me  a lot. I hate it when that happens, but when it does I just go towards the nurse's station where everyone is. heheh! The last hospital I worked for was still failry new. Only the 4th floor bedrooms were open and lights on the first 3 floors were dimmed or turned off in some corners to save on electricity bills. Well... let's just say dark places have a lot of wierd shadows moving around. Oh yeah, sometimes when a patient is dying, some sort of collective dark "cloud" is attracted to the place. My friend who "sees" better than I do says it's some sort of welcoming party. There are certainly a lot of interesting things going on in the night shift. Sometimes patients come up with pretty similar stories too! The most common story is of a little girl who comes in their  room and goes out silently. go figure! The nurses in the ICU get the best frights! Sometimes a chair rolls out all by itself or the computer keyboards "clicks" by itself. Tried the clicking keyboard when I was in the ER once. I'm just hoping it was just some sort of fat rat. =D

Wow, you also have "seen" much. It's something not everyone has experienced.

" Worked @ Recovery Center, originally privately-owned,farm land; the facility had separate living quarters for men and women.

There were numerous occasions, when,"events occured", upper floor / female unit,approx.2am-4am;female clients reported,

"elderly female in bathrobe, spotted @ the foot of their beds,checked-in on them,"mother-like effect".Ironically, several clients over

time had provided,"descript detail, regarding facial appearance, height and so on",that the image,"just faded into the dark, when

the few, brave curious souls attempted to follow her,to engage in conversation.Interesting?"

we had a lady who always yelled at us to keep her door open....when she passed the door was closed since the room was empty and when the aide would close the door it would openagain... a few of the nurses when down the hall and told her to leave the door closed it never opened again. it was the weirdest thing ever

Not unusual when you think about the amount of intense energy that is expended at hospitals. At hospitals there are people coming into this world and those that are leaving it, so I'm not surprised that some decide to stick around.
