So is this not a program with deadlines? You need deadlines. Most people are not able to complete projects based on internal deadlines. Most people need external deadlines to complete a project. Looking at this project as a whole is overwhelming to you. You need to start with one small piece. Something that isn't going to start your resistance process. Can you start today and read two pages from your first lesson?

I am a wellenss and health coach. I haved learned and teach that making small steps for permanent change is very beneficial, and can be applied to most areas. You also need some type of external deadline, or someone you are accountable to, that will hold you to the fire if this is something you really want to complete. Deadlines need to be written down.

When I first signed up for this online program.. I had just graduated from the LVN program and was full of energy.  Never did I realize that studying independently and not having to be accountable to anyone would be so hard.  Thank you very much for your advise.  I need to start on one subject and read a couple of pages per night.  Eventually I will finish......I HOPE!!!!

Perhaps you should reevaluate your commitment to this program.  Better to be honest with yourself and cut your losses if that seems to be the path for you.  Or, after doing some soul searching, you decide to get with the program, get with the program.  You can get a calendar and impose your own deadlines.  This is what many people do when they are enrolled in online programs where they are in charge of their own progress.  Good luck.

If you really want to do this program, start with one simple task that will take you closer to your goal.
