Hello friends!  I am 41 years old, and have owned a scrub store for 4 years.  This business, though profitable, is not what I want to do anymore.  I have talked to many nurses (customers) and I have decided to go to Galen College of Nursing and become a nurse!  This has been on my mind night and day since last 4th of July.  I have taken to PAX test, and am waiting to hear if I have been accepted.  My next step will be meeting with financial aid.  I am very excited about what the future holds for me, and I must tell you that I have not felt that way for many many years!  It's like I have woke up, and discovered what I want to be when I grow up!  I am scared, (will I be smart enough to remember all of the information for a test), but I am also very happy to look forward to the future!  Thanks for reading this, and any advice would be welcome!

So glad to hear you've found something you're very passionate about! I think it's great when people find their calling - not everyone is fortunate enough to be doing what they love. Wishing you the best of luck, and keep us all in the community posted about your progress!

Dear Kelly,

Congratulations for getting into nursing school! It was the hardest, though most rewarding thing I have ever done with my life.
