Hello everyone...

My name is Stacy and I have been working in the medical field for 16 yrs and finally went to school to become a Nurse.....I graduated in Dec of 2010 and passed the NCLEX-PN on Feb 15 of 2011...It didn't take me long to find a job as an LPN...I have orientation next week....My question or concern is that I'm not nervous about being an actual nurse on the floor....Is this normal or is it because I have been in the field as an Aide for a long time......Does anyone have any helpful hints for a first timer working in a Nursing Home.

You do have a certain amount of familiarity with the hospital setting, and this is probably helping you stay calm. Did you check out the groups we have here on NL, and become a part with the ones that are closely aligned with what you are doing?

Congratulations on passing and I hope that you enjoy your career as much as I do!  Maybe you are not nervous because you have been involved in the field for so long it’s just second nature to you.    Good luck at your new job!

03The Globetrekker Phoenix Escort programmes arent Phoenix Escorts bad and can Phoenix Asian Escort be picked up on Ebay for Phoenix Asian Escorts a tenner. I particularly liked the London one. Rough Guide on Channel 5 are better then I thought but not a patch on the old Rough Guide by the BBC.
