Posted about 2 years ago Hi. I've worked with several of the EMR programs available but not all. Realizing there are pros and cons, I'm interested in hearing about nurses experiences with EMRs in general, the favs, the nightmares. Has anyone out there worked with EPIC? Thanks ICUINDYTRAV aka Denise |

| Posted about 2 years ago Hi Denise. I have not worked with EPIC. I have worked briefly with Health Span, and the hospital I just left is changing over to Cerner. Joyce Harrell, RN, OCN

| Posted about 2 years ago Oh, I think being a traveler would be difficult with all the new EMR programs being implemented. Good luck to you. Joyce Harrell, RN, OCN

| Posted about 2 years ago was traveling for 3 years before returning home for a year. Now looking at a "close" travel assignment. and actually, they're pretty similar in a lot of ways. The constant change and adapting energizes me. |

| Posted about 2 years ago Our ed is shopping around several emr's right now. It has to interface with our current computer system used housewide. It's horrid. Once upon a time we used Epic for our d/c instructions, but that's been more than a dozen years or so. |
