Any advice would be welcome!

I am doing my pre-requisites to hopefully get into a BSN/accelerated BSN program starting Spring or Summer 2012.  I have what is called an Essential Tremor (a genetic trait passed down paternally in my family), a minor shaking visible in my hands.  It can be worse if I am extremely emotional or nervous, but isn't bad the rest of the time.

I am 34 and have my bachelors in another subject so I'm looking forward to the focused training in school.

I am wondering if this will be a problem for me, in training as well as in the workplace.  Any thoughts that you have would be appreciated.

Thanks for the response Teresa,

It's really just tremors unless I'm very stressed out or emotional so 99% of the time, just tremors.  I'm hoping it won't impact my schooling or future job possibilities.  The nurses that I have talked to have been supportive, so I am encouraged so far.

" I commend you for pursuing your goal towards a career in the medical field. The most important thing to remember is to

There are logistical approaches to lessen / resolve anxiety-based s/s,( Inderal, per say),as long as your GP has evaluated that
