Never a break

Posted about 2 years ago I have been a nurse for 30 years. Recently traveled and done agency staffing. It has become the norm for nurses to NEVER get a break. We are scheduled for 12.5 or 8.5 hours. That half hour, at least, is OUR unpaid time to at least get something to eat! Aren't you tired of donating that time and working hungry? |

| Posted about 2 years ago I never did take a break either. The only ones that take regular breaks are the smokers that drive off campus to take a smoke. I just got out of the habit of sitting down for a break. Joyce Harrell, RN, OCN
