Posted over 5 years ago I am studying for the NET. I am quite freaked out over all of the math/algebra etc. Was the actual test grueling? Please give me some advise. |

The NET is a straight forward testing tool to gather information on essential math skill, reading comprehension, test-taking skills, stresll level profile, social interaction profile and learning style. I would view the NET as more of a report (after taken) on where you fall within the above subjects. For instance, I recall being tested on basic math skills, whole numbers, percentages, fractions...if you know the basics, you will be fine. Along with reading...being able to comprehend the material and getting the main idea and ability to predict outcomes. Again, stuff you already know. Right? So, dont let it Freak ya out to bad. Just be prepared to know basic skills and you will find the rest of the test asking ya quesitons that you already know the ansers to...such as finding out if you are an auditory learner , solitary learner, visual learner, etc.. Hope my advice helps. The more you know about what the NET is looking for, the more helpful. I do hope my advice helps you in one way or another. Remember to breathe! Bobbi |
