Does anybody have any information on a Code H or Code Help? Do you have this in your hospital?
We currently have a Code 3 which is cardio/pulmonary arrest, and a Rapid Response Team which is for "something is just not right with my patient and i would like for someone else (ie Critical Care Nurse, Resp.) to assess them for me" and now it has been mentioned to have the Code H/HELP. I have read the article with the reason this code was developed, but i was just wondering for those who have it already if you could give me some insight on just how it works and how it really differs from a Rapid Response Team.
thanks

Is this at all like a code care where it's a reaponse system for outpatients? Or is it if a family memeber of a patinet feels something is being overlooked and want a response from someone other than the nursing staff already careing for the patinet?
