hi all, im busted i applied thru agency and i got a call from them that theywill keep on-hold my application bcoz they are hiring only w/ experience minimum of 6 months. but hello im a new cna how can i have a 6 mos. experience if i just got my certificate. can anybody here help me coz im really depressed im looking for a job for 3 weeks now.... i wanna die.. huhuhuu....

Your gonna have to find a job perhaps nursing home or hospital and stay for at least six months to a year. There really is no way around the experience rule. And FYI you don't want to start traveling without experience.

I'm having the same problem. I have been trying to find a job since December. I am a new CNA too. So I actually went to the HR department of a hospital I wanted to work at. I asked why my application was being denied. It was explained to my that I must have experience at least 6 months to 1 year because they don't have time to train you. So I am applying to the various nursing homes.
