Hillary VS Obama

Posted about 5 years ago Well since I pose this topic I think it is only fair that I respond. We have here essentially 2 candidates that are poised to make history no matter which of them wins. Even though England has had a woman Prime Minister since whenever, America, the land of the free and the home of the brave has not achieved this milestone. I would like to see the best man/woman for the job elected. And the only way for this to happen is for us to open our minds, free them of deep-seated biases and vote for the best candidate. I too admire clinton, she is knowledgeable regarding policies, but a little distant. Obama, on the other hand while unexposed to foreign policies, and lack of experience, evey candidate for the white house so far has never been a president before. So how can one gain experience but to be given a chance to prove onself. PS! Would it not be awesome if they would agree that whoever wins they would elect the other VP? Imagine those two brilliant minds together! We will all win then.

Posted about 5 years ago I think it's funny that Ms Clinton, second place runner, offered Obama the vice presidency. I just fear the next term. We need someone to whip us into shape and the idea of all these new taxes just bums me out. Please don't pay any attention to my misspelled words or typos. Sorry I'll try harder next time.

Posted about 5 years ago Too bad y'all don't remember how Bill Clinton got into office, all the hushed up scandals like Vince Foster. In a supposed Christian nation how does a Muslem rank, huh? You are nurses...remember? Research, research. Do your own investigations before you let a slanted media choose for you. Research the implications of Hillary's national health care agenda from the 90's. Was it good? You decide. Obama's roots extend beyond a "Christian" front. Just because you've arrived(RN) doesn't mean you forget your roots. Oh yeah, McCain, like I said, you be the judge and vote your conscience, not your emotions. 'Nuff said

Posted about 5 years ago "As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries." The above is Article 11 of the Treaty of Tripoli, signed in 1796 and ratified by Congress in 1797. It was written and signed under George Washington's administration and it was ratified during John Adam's time in office. This country was founded on religious freedom and I resent this continual diatribe it is a "christian nation" Most of the founding fathers of this country were deists. I also resent someone is assuming I let the media choose for me. I am a very intelligent, well read WOMAN who makes her own decisions.

Posted about 5 years ago I did hear that Hillary said that the reason our healthcare expenses are too high is because of Rregistered Nurses salaries. Just because she follows a nurse around for 2 hours does not mean she understands the difficulty related to being a nurse. I believe that nurses are far underpaid not overpaid. She has lost my vote. I am voting for Obama.

Posted about 5 years ago I'm a Demacrat all the way,But I just don't know. I think Obama has good intentions, he has new ideas and he sounds refreshing, but I think he's gonna get cut off at every turn. Hillary is a tough cookie and she knows her way around the block( Pennsylvania Ave) but she sounds like the same old same old. I'm just not sure. I would love to see either one in the White house. Who ever gets the job is gonna have their work cut out for them. Its gonna take four years just to clean up the mess we're in. So my prays are with who ever gets the gig.

| Posted about 5 years ago Hillary is the most qualified candidate but I think she has been robbed of the nomination in the long run by the biased media and the lemmings that have been comfortable enough to sit in front of their televisions and let the press tell them that a woman can't be a good president. An ineffective leader doesn't support success.
