Hello! I will be graduating in June from my ADN RN program. We will be pinned, but not capped, however, I am a traditionalist and want my portraits to show me wearing the white cap. My mother's RN cap and cape will be displayed next to me. My question is this, somehow during my time in RN school, the tiny white buttons that hold my cap together have disappeared. Does anyone know where I can find replacements? I'd be grateful for any guidance in this search. My sincere thanks!

So let me understand your question. Do you have a cap that is your cap, but you aren't having a capping ceremony? Or is the cap you are going to wear, your mother's cap?

Our school is only having a pinning ceremony, not a capping ceremony, unfortunately.  I'm a traditionalist, and ever since I was a little girl, I have wanted to be a nurse, and I was determined that I was going to work hard and earn the right to wear that spotless, starched white cap. I am disappointed that my school doesn't do the traditional capping ceremony.  I will however, have portraits made of me in my starched traditional nurse dress with white hose and shoes, wearing the much coveted and well earned white cap with my mother's cap and cape displayed beside me. My mother purchased me a vintage style, generic cap, she has even attached the single black stripe.  My cap, that my mother purchased, has somehow lost the tiny button fasteners that hold it together and I am searching to try and find replacements.

OK. Have you tried doing a google search for "nurse caps"? I have a friend that has a business called nursing pins. If you can't find anything doing a google search, let me know, and I will ask him.
