Posted about 2 years ago I find that when I want to make a change, it is imperative to let others be aware of my intentions, and to be accountable to people for the changes I want to make. Anyone here want to make health changes and want to let us know about it here? A nurse accountability group? Like, sharing the goals you want to achieve and checking in on a regular basis with your progress? Joyce Harrell, RN, OCN

| Posted about 2 years ago I am going to be helping facilitate an 8 week weight loss group. If anyone is interested in details, you can notify me. There will be accountability involved, and we will be using a low glycemic plan. Joyce Harrell, RN, OCN

| Posted about 2 years ago So, I really believe Nurses need to care for themselves in order to care best for those they are responsible for. This means patients, kids, family, etc. I got a little off track while looking for a new job, etc. I went to the gym today. On the treadmill for 2 miles. I am loving the accountability I have set up with a few friends. I really desire to be the example, not only to my patients, but to other nurses as well. I really have a heart to see other nurses successful in these health habit endevours. What are you doing these days to be healthy? Do you have an accountability partner? Joyce Harrell, RN, OCN
