Posted over 1 year ago My name is Miranda, I am a senior in high school and we have been given an assignment to interview someone in our selected career field. I would like to become a RN, therefore I need to interview a nurse. My interview has to be at least a page long so there are 10 to 12 questions I would like someone to answer. This is a major part of my grade and honestly something I am genuinely curious about. Any nurse will do, it does not have to be a RN. I would truely appreciate the help. Thank you so much. It is a very important interview and i can post the questions as well. |

| Posted over 1 year ago How long have you been a nurse? What type of nurse are you? How has nursing affected you? What kind of person do you think it takes to become a nurse? What kind of schooling, tests, and/or certifications did you have to have to be in your career field? Where do you work? (hospital, doctors office, etc.) If not too personal, how much does a nurse in your field typically make? What made you decide to become a nurse? |

| Posted over 1 year ago What is a typical day like for you as a nurse? Do you have time for yourself? Family, friends, etc.? How hard is it to separate your nursing life from your personal life? Do you get attached to your patients? How stressed does nursing make you feel? How do you deal with your stress? If you could choose a career all over again would you choose nursing again or go a different path? At the end of the day do you feel like you’ve positively changed people’s lives? How much responsibility lies on your shoulders? Is there not enough time in the day to get what you need to get done? |

| Posted over 1 year ago What is your favorite part about nursing? Do you look forward to anything about your job as a nurse? What is your schedule like? I know Nurses mostly have 3-4 days of 12 hour shifts then the rest of the days off. Are 12 hour shifts really tiring? Do you like your schedule? What is the nastiest thing you’ve ever had to do on the job? What is the most rewarding thing you have experienced as a nurse? The most amazing? Have you had a life changing experience in the nursing field? Overall would you say your job makes you happy or depressed? Tired or energized? Any advice for an aspiring nurse? I really appreciate your help and apologize for the rather lengthy interview. This is truely a large part of my grade. Not only does this contribute to my overall success in my senior english class but my future career plans as well. ANY and ALL information is welcome and much appreciated. Thank you so much! |
