Hello everyone, I realize I am new here but its time to get thins in motion. As many of you may know there is a push in the states to essentially eliminate the LPN, as well as the ADN RN. Apparently facilities/hosptials are wanting a higer skill leveled nurse to care for clients and it is the concencus that this skill level is the BSN and higher since the 1950's. ( American Nurses Association (1956)

I am conscidering a pettitoning methode to promote/Empower LPN's since this is what I am, and in doing so I hope to appeal to the ADN RN's since they also are undergraduate Nurses as the LPN. I realize theses battles have raged since the 1800's, however it is my fear it has become closer to reality and if not in our career than for the future generations to come. I feel it is our duty to protect our profession for current and future generations.
