 Hi -

I was told by the dentish the porcelin and metal Crown would 'pass' in the next 12 hours or so.

It's been 5 days.

No bowel movements at all - and when i bend down to tie my shoes, etc bile goes into my mouth. Like nothing's going in the correct direction for me or something.  I took 3 stimulus-type oral meds to help the going process, and then could hear loud sounds but now?  I hear nothing. I feel nothing.  I keep drinking al;ot and eating to force things along - fiber pills.

Nothing.  i called the nearest er and both Nurses - One pawned me off to the other - Laughed and said it'll pass.

Well what if Nothing is passing? and the bile that's in my mouth like it;'s running backwards - if that's even possible.

Whats the Worse Thing that could happen swalling a Crown (was from a large molar) ?  Could it make perastalsis just Stop? I'm scared to even try an enema - I've been eating normally these past 5 days.

So WHEN SHOULD I Worry then?  When would even These People think there might be something really wrong and I should go in?

thanks.

Wow, that could be a problem..As a ER nurse for 20 years, I can't imagine someone laughing at you..I would call you PCP and see if they recommend x-rays yet.. Best of luck and please keep us posted... Teresa
