Posted over 1 year ago Hey all!! My husband and I found out that we are going to be stationed in Del Rio, Tx at Laughlin AFB. Im looking for a job somewhere/anywhere. I am in the process of obtaining my license through texas. I do have a temporary license in texas atleast so I can start the process. My question is does any one have any ideas of where to look for positions besides the general online search engines? unfortunately where we are going doesnt have alot of positions posted and I really dont want to stay in Ohio while my hubby is in Texas. thanks so much Heather
p.s ive already applied on base also |

| Posted over 1 year ago theresa you are 100% correct. I do need to hit the ground running and something positive will happen for me. I think the hardest part about starting over in a new state is that I am not there yet so finding a position on the internet is difficult when you arent physically there to see what is offered in the new location. But on a positive note i rec'd a call from a hhc that i have applied to today that is about an hr away from where we will be stationed and they like what I have on my resume and my experience and have offered me a position when i get down there hopefully it all pans out. :)
