| Posted about 1 year ago ronna_e Argh.... I am so very sorry about your difficulties.. However, from what I have seen and learned on this forum, I don't think you may have a choice..For whatever reason CBON is not accepting any Phillipino classes or medsurg/ob.....Best of luck to you and please keep us posted.. | Posted about 1 year ago You know, I'm not sure about that.. I think it would be the wisest to contact the BON and get the real facts and not the "what I've heard.." Best of luck to you. Teresa |

| Posted 11 months ago Hello im kind of new here, and it seems you have helped a lot with the info that you know. "2. That your nursing clinical rotation schedule AND clinical cases be complete *per* skill type." You mentioned this in one of your replies. WHAT DOES THIS MEAN!? It would mean a lot if you could help me out! thank you.

This is also my predicament. I took the exam once and failed, but I have applied a long time ago (2009?) I wonder if there's anything that we can do since we have already been allowed to take the exam before. I wonder if writing to the proper authorities will help? Maybe a petition>?? |

| Posted 11 months ago 2ndtakerimmigrant, I think writing or call the BON directly is the correct answer... It no doubt will give you the right answer and avoid the "I think or I heard". Best of luck to you.. Please keep us posted.. Teresa |

| Posted 11 months ago Thanks, TeresahRN. From what I researched (mostly from forums), I think there's a high chance that I will not be allowed to re-exam in CA=( I'll try talking to BON evaluator, but I honestly think it's not in their hands to decide |

| Posted 9 months ago Hi, I have read almost all of the posts in this forum as I am currently having the same problem with you guys. I just called the NCLEX Cali BON and asked about the status of my application since I have sent all the additional requirements they wanted for more than 2 months ago and I haven't received a letter from them, which makes me really anxious, due to the dillemas my co Phillippines Nursing Grads are facing regarding their application for NCLEX Cali. So there, I just called them and I was told that I need to take additional Med Surg and OB courses, which surprised me bigtime, for I know I have done it during Nursing School. But anyways, since I have read quite some of the posts I knew that I wasn't the only one having this problem. My question is that, I am not residing in California, I am currently living in Texas, will that mean I have to transfer to California and enroll in their schools or I can also take those courses from the schools here in the Lone Star State? I'm really getting more and more depressed here.. |
