Is anyone following the Amanda Trujillo story? The nurse who lost her job for being a patient advocate?

It is very common to lose your job for being a patient advocate.Most of the time one levaes under pressure but it is often "you don't seem to be happy here." There are many dirty tricks in their book for them to CYA. One must do the research, document, copy, etc and be prepared.   It  doesn't make the papers because none of us can afford to take it to court and our professional organizations will not support a fund or insurance for those legal needs. Thats why membership is dismal at 6 percent or less. As long as the status quo goes unchallenged the elite enjoy the perks and the beat goes on due to silence of the majority.
