I am currently attending a four year university, I haven't been accepted into the nursing program yet. I am stuck between attending the 4 year and getting my BSRN or my RN and a community college, the reason I am doing this is becuse a 4 year is so much money...but I want to enventually become a labor and delievery nurse...what would you suggest? Get my RN and get BSRN later...and if so is that expensive.?

Hiya, There are many RN's that go back to school for the very same reason.. The expensive is considerable, but as a BSN, I feel it is worth the investment.. Best of luck to you.. I also have to say, I hope other nurses respond to this question, because there are RN's that may not have a BSN, but are truly  happy in their careers.. Best of luck and please keep us posted..
