As a nurse and an educator, I have been of the board of admitting students.. I think your situation may not be as rare as you think. I've had plenty of friends start on the path to nursing and pause/post-pone because of anxiety. Furthermore, your essay topic sounds very special and like TeresaRN said, the admissions board would probably applaud your honesty. Best wishes! |
