Posted over 1 year ago I have been in and out of school over the past ten years, and I am currently finishing up my associates degree in psychology online. I'm only going for that degree to make the most of my credits. There have been a lot of bumps in the road, but I need to get on the ball. I currently have 2 small children and child care is a huge issue for me, so I needed to do something from home. What I would really like to do is become a nurse, but it has taken me a long time to decide this! What I would like to know is... how should I go about getting to be an RN, and be able to utilize my degree at the same time? I don't know if the credits I've earned can be applied towards a nursing degree. I'd hate to just throw away all the time, money, and effort I have put into my associates. Any words of wisdom? |

| Posted over 1 year ago Hiya, Thank you for posting your question...You have brought up some very good concerns and hope The great membersof NL and myself can give you some pointers.. The first thing I would do, is to obtain some childcare that you are comfortable with..You didn't mention if you had supportive family members? In any case, I'm sure that is your biggest concern.. The next thing I would do, is make an appointment with an academic advisor and explain to them your situation and your desires.. Hopefully, they could give you some great advise and help you also though the transition you smoothly. Then you can make an informed decision.. Best of luck to you and please keep us posted..
