I am a student who studying associate degree in college. I plan to transfer to a 4-year university after completing associate degree in order to study BSN. I used to hear that when you apply to a 4-year university ( of course in Nursing major), they will consider your grades in some particular courses more than other courses. For instance, they will look at your grade in Biology, Chemistry, Math first, then will consider your cumulative GPA to decide whether or not you will be selected. I dont know if what I heard is true or it's just a rumor. Anybody helps me with this, please?

Masterjean, I have to agree with you. they do tend to look for the sciences and math.. Also they look for psych and other patient oriented subjects.. best of luck to you and please keep us posted.. Teresa
