Posted about 1 year ago Does anyone know if it’s possible to obtain a position as an ER travel RN without experience, and if so would they receive a similar level of benefits, such as housing, health insurance, etc.? |

| Posted about 1 year ago Ron HIya, There are travel positions in the ER, however, usually they want about 15 years expierence.. Also, ACLS, PALS , Critical care exper. and a few other advanced training.. It's pretty exciting to do this and when you do, you get all kinds of benefits and go to some awesome places...I'm proud to say I did this for a short time... | Posted about 1 year ago I haven’t entered nursing school yet, but the few travel nurse sites I’ve browsed are asking for at least one year’s experience. I was hoping to find a company that will place me right after I finish my BSN. I’m trying to find a way to save to pay my expenses (rent, utilities, etc.) for the two or more years I will be in CRNA school and acquire the required rotations for admittance at the same time. I have to pay child support so I probably wouldn't be able to save enough in one year to cover two years expenses, but if I could land a travel nurse position and do overtime I’d should be able to pull it off. |

| Posted 9 months ago ER Travel nursing jobs do require experience. Be sure to check out travel nursing agencies that can provide you with a good idea on the types of jobs that are available, requirements and the certifications needed to apply.
