Hiya, I'm sorry you are going thtough this.. Alot of nurses of many titles are going throught this also... I suppose that you have applied to different types of places that may use nurses, but have you thought about volunteering for awhile.. That allows the company to get to know you, gives you some expierence and looks great on a resume...Best of luck to you and please keep us posted.. Teresa

Thank you for responding, Theresa. That is a thought about volunteering my time. I didn't know you could volunteer as an LPN so to get experience? I had thought it had to be " payed experience" with companys or agency's to qualifiy for having the experience as an LPN. One temp agency told me I should apply for "MED TECH LPN" for a year, just giving out meds and personal care giving. And that would give me the experience. But I'm not sure if that's the route to go. I know there are people without LPN license (which is upsetting to me, only because they don't have the schooling) trained by company's to give out medications. This I don't understand why this is allowed? I don't want to be labeled as a Med Tech because of this. So this is my reason why I hesitaate not to apply as Med Tech LPN. Your thoughts?

Hiya, YOu know, you would be surprised where you could volunteer.. If you want, you could also volunteer at a fire department , an ambulance company even the ARC .. I'm not sure exactly what you would do, but none the less, it would be great expierence. Best of luck.. Please keep us posted..Teesa
