So I took my test about 5 weeks ago and PASSED!  Yay thank You Jesus .  My license number is up on my state BON site, they e-mailed me the # too, but I haven't received official results in the snail mail.  To my understanding, until you receive these offical results in the mail, it's not "officially" official.  Is that correct?  And, how long did others wait before they received their results?  When I called my state BON, they said they don't have that info, call PearsonVue.  When I called PearsonVue, they said that they just process the info, my state BON will send it to me.  A little confused.. 


On a side note, I am very thankful that I was able to get my results (at least, the license number) so quickly - I can't imagine what it must have felt like back in the day, when many of you took the test with a pencil and waited several months to get your results!  Kudos to you! 

 Hi Teresah - just looking for a job.  The car situation is a little tricky right now, so I can't go to the facility I am pretty sure would hire me.  Everyone else wants some medical experience, even as a CNA.  I went straight into nursing (LPN), so I don't have that - yet.  Praying and hoping that the right fit will come along really soon!

Do you by chance know how long it usually takes for official results to come in the mail nowadays?  

 I took my NCLEX-PN here in California last Monday, June 18th. I went up to 205 questions and I got so anxious after taking the test. As soon as I got home, I tried to do the Pearson vue trick. I got the good pop up!!! It lessened my anxiety, and I was very hopeful that the trick works. Everyday I tried to register (yes I got a little crazy) but it won't let me. And today, just 5 days after I took my test, I got the official letter from the board that says I passed! So, I therefore conclude that the PVT works!!! Congratulations to all those who passed and good luck to those who are about to take the NCLEX! 

 Congrats, angelvox!  That's awesome :).  I haven't gotten my results in the mail yet, though I did get an e-mail from the PLA for my state.

Emilasia - I can tell you with 99.99% certainty that the PVT does work - I took my test and, 45 minutes or so later, tried the trick and got the good popup.  I never did pay for the quick results, becaue my license # is on the BON site.  Congrats, though, it sounds like you passed!  By the way - I had a friend take the test just a couple weeks ago.  She tried the PVT a couple hours later, it said the test was being held (PearsonVue HQ computers hadn't finished scoring, apparently).  Tried again a little while later, and it took her to the cc info page.  She did find out officially that she did not pass.  So, if you are getting the good pop and it won't let you pay, then 99.99% of the time, that means you probably passed.  Congratulations! :)
