| Posted 11 months ago Folks, there are other forums that explain this issue.. It seems that the school programs in the Phillipines, are not as complete with the proper hours in OB/Med-Surg as in the US. That seems to be the reason the CBON wants you to take futher instructions.. Teresa |

| Posted 11 months ago I don't want to spread gossip or tales, but if I remember correctly the BON was being investigated on all of the denials they were handing out to foreign nurses.. Teresa |

| Posted 11 months ago I hope the investigators resolve this issue on denying us Phil/foreign grads..and must be a positive resolution...a special continuing/completion education/program for us to retake these said classes(ob,med-surg,psychiatric nursing)..so we dont have a difficult time to find schools that offer individual courses....if it is possible... |

| Posted about 1 month ago Hello fellow nurse graduates struggling to get licensed as a RN in CA. I have some news. I found a school that could possibly help with our licensing situation in CA. It's Victor Valley College in Victorville. I know it's far for most of you but if yo really want to stay in Ca and work here's your chance. I have been in contact with the nursing director at VVC. They may have a program for us. It's not for sure yet because they don't have the students. If we can get a minimum of 10ppl they mightapprove it. I say might because they're thinking of how much everything will cost. Professors and hospital for clinicals aren't cheap. If you need Med surg, OB, or both please contact me. This program would have to be during the summer and winter. I will be the one to generate the list and present it to the director at VVC. Also if you know anyone else that is looking for a school, please have them contact me. The sooner the list is generated the sooner we can get to the next step in getting this program started. Please email me at flypinay24x7@yahoo.com with the subject INTERESTED IN VVC PROGRAM SPREAD THE WORD!!!
