Hello I am currently a Medical Assistant with a AS Degree. I have to take a live scan inorder to get a job in a retirement home doing CNA work. i have a feloney convivtion from 2003 for haveing blank check paper. will i be able to get the job?

mm, I'm pretty sure that a felony will stay on your record forever unless expunged.. However, since it was 9 years ago, they might not be so hard on you.. But, I would tell them before hand just so they don't think you are trying to pull a fast one on them.. Best of luck.. Please keep us posted...Teresa
