I just found this website and enrolled. Im hoping to find some direction for what to do.  I have just completed a full year of pre reqs for the LPN program at my local college. Then this spring they dropped the entire LPN program.They are only going to have the RN program.   So now I have to take another year of pre reqs to get my C+ in sciences up to a B,  and take additional sciences along with advanced math courses.  I am struggling with MATH, Im on my second semester of algebra!   I also took 2 semesters of basic algebra.

My HEART is in the right place, I love being a CNA at my job. I really wanted to be an LPN so I could bump up the ladder and still do what I love doing. Helping and making people feel better.   From what I have researched, I cant go anywhere without MORE MATH!     Just thinking about it is distressing, thats because I really struggle with it alot.  I utilize tutors, typewell (note taker)  extra time on exams, and yet I am still struggling.  It is breaking my heart that I waited 20 years to go to college and be a nurse and yet here I am facing a really big brick wall blocking my dream frmo coming true.

Are there any ideas or suggestions that you can send my way....I really want to be a Nurse of some sort but I hate the fact that Math is keeping me from getting there!
